A Pietermaritzburg family can family live in peace after 5 years. Since February 2017 a jealous neighbor has silently cyber tortured the Williams family. Believing he would never be caught.
Johan Botha a 57 year divorced Pietermaritzburg resident carefully created fake profiles and stalked the Williams family. Watching out his front window and cctv for 5 years. He followed their every move and kept as much contact with them in order to gather information. Information that he used against the family. The green devil posed as the families best friend and offered false assistance with the matter regularly. Silently stalking the family he managed to make friends with family and friends of the Williams. Johan would invite himself over when they had guests or approaching them at the Williams gate. he would then carefully trace the guests social media accounts , obtain contact details from his fake profiles and continue his mission to destroy the lifes of his neighbors.
Families turmoil begins
February 2017 family and friends of the Williams family began receiving photoshopped photos of the Williams family . Photos of their faces edited onto pornographic images. Rumours began surfacing on social media from unknown people. These rumours and false evidence where carefully posted so family and friends of the Williams family would see them.
After numerous attempts to trace the criminal behind these acts failed and attempts over the 5 years the Williams family where referred to Aisure Group.
All data was gathered and tracing began. 12 January 2023 The Aisure digital forensics team accompanied by a private security firm and Private investigator entered Bothas property armed with all the evidence and legal documentation. Botha denied he was the culprit and denied ownership of any computers or laptops. After being shown all the evidence and devices used recovered , Aisure group began recovering all evidence Botha had deleted and believed would never be found. 3 Cellphones traced to the property and used to create fake Facebook , instagram and google accounts where also found and data recovered in Bothas prescence.
Jealous Neighbor Caught
Faced with the reality that all has been revealed Botha began confessing to avoid the matter going to court. When asked why did he do it, his response was shocking. The jealous neighbor stalked the Williams family and set out to destroy them as their kids had become more successful than he is. He would become furious for every achievement of the Wiliams kids and retaliate attempting to destroy the family.
Botha has agreed to settle out of court for a cash sum that will be obtained from his savings , sale of his property and 2 vehicles. He has further agreed to issue an apology on his social media accounts and various tabloids no later than 31 January 2023.
